Rolls 1 m wide x 25 m long.
Thicknesses from 2 to 7 mm.
Acoustic insulations under paving.
Price per roll
Low density agglomerated cork rolls for use under paving.
They are mainly used in acoustic attenuation of floors.
Placed before laying the final paving in a residence (floating parquet, ceramic, wood flooring, etc) lay the cork on the floor and above this the final paving you have selected. The cork will prevent the noise of footsteps, high-heels or furniture being dragged across the floor.
Typical thicknesses for this application range from 2 to 4 mm, depending on the characteristics of the residence, but it is important to note that the greater the thickness the greater the acoustic attenuation.
They are also used for levelling. In house rehabilitations it is quite common for the floor of a room to be a different height from the adjoining room. To level the two floors at the same height you can use levelling compound or simply supplement the difference in level with cork rolls of a suitable thickness.
