In nature, the bark of the cork oak is a natural refuge for a multitude of animal species.
Cork tubes are obtained directly from the forests of cork oaks. After pruning, the branches of the oak remain on the forest floor until the wood rots leaving the bark (cork) in the form of a tube.
They are perfect as burrows for rodents, snakes or any other type of reptile. They are also suitable for tarantulas or other arachnids to easily make their nests. To adapt the burrow to your terrarium, use pliers to break and cut the cork. It is not advisable to use cutters or saws.
100% natural and sterilized, these are the refuges that your pets would seek out in nature.
Although we try hard to meet size requirements, cork is a natural and virgin material, and therefore the sizes available in this product are subject to variations in both thickness and length as well as width.
